Jakarta - Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) memberikan keterangan akan menyelesaikan permasalahan guru honorer,Kemendikbud mengutamakan agar nantinya para guru honorer mendapatkan gaji yang layak.dan juga status kepegawaian guru honorer juga turut menjadi perhatian.
"Penyelesaian masalah guru honorer seperti diskusi kami dengan lintas kementerian, tentu mengedepankan bagaimana mereka mendapatkan penghasilan yang layak bagaimana status kepegawaian mereka itu jelas, dan juga bagaimana kualitas untuk melayani anak-anak Indonesia, juga bisa terjaga dengan baik," kata Dirjen Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (GTK) Kemendikbud Iwan Syahril dalam rapat bersama Komisi X DPR, Rabu (8/7/2020) seperti yang di kutip detik.com
peningkatan kualitas guru honorer sejalan dengan peningkatan kompetensi tiap guru, ujar iwan Ia juga menekankan bahwa pentingnya kualitas guru agar hasil pengajaran kepada para siswa juga terjaga kualitasnya.
"Bahwa penyelesaian guru honorer itu juga terletak dalam big picture atau gambaran besar dari bagaimana kita meningkatkan kualitas, kompetensi guru kita secara umum. Jadi ekspektasi yang tadi misalnya kalau memang dalam waktu tes dia bisa mencapai ekspektasi kualitas, walaupun bukan S1 sekalipun, kenapa nggak? Dan itu hal yang perlu kita tekankan juga," seperti yang di katakan iwan dalam detik.com
Iwan pun menyebut Kemendikbud terus berkoordinasi lintas kementerian agar masalah ini cepat selesai, permasalahan guru honorer ini. Ada skema relaksasi Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) untuk para tenaga honorer.
Iwan sebelumnya juga mengatakan Kemendikbud dan pemerintah tengah menyiapkan skema yang tepat agar nantinya BOS Plus yang bisa dimanfaatkan sekolah untuk menggaji guru-guru honorer.
"Skema yang kami rencanakan dalam bagaimana mengelola anggaran yang disalurkan itu ada namanya usulan kami itu BOS plus. terdiri dari BOS ditambah dengan anggaran tambahan untuk guru non-PNS, Ini yang kemudian akan langsung disalurkan ke sekolah, Bisa untuk melakukan pembayaran langsung kepada guru-guru non-PNS," ujarnya yang di kutip detik.com
